Killhunting UK highlights and campaigns against the annual killing of millions of defenceless animals and birds in the name of "conservation" and "sport".
Conservation organisations in the UK are killing wildlife to protect their own interests. They promote certain species while killing others to satisfy their own particular agenda. They often persaude the government to give them grants amounting to millions of pounds on the back of their pseudo science.
Country House Estates earn huge rewards from well-heeled hunters, who arrive in the UK from abroad to slaughter wildlife and game-birds in the name of sport. There is nothing "sporting" about killing a defenceless animal for fun and recreation! This is a coward's game!
Hunting with dogs is probably the most highly publicised and despicably cruel hunting practice in the UK in modern times. Thankfully, it was condemned by a massive majority of elected representatives. However, hounds continue to be allowed to pursue foxes and deer in the practice of flushing out the hunted animal. "Accidents" continue to take place, where hounds aren't stopped from catching the fox or deer. This is of course illegal, and Animal Rights campaigners are monitoring the situation and trying to get prosecutions using video evidence.
The Scottish Tourist Board was caught out lying by Killhunting UK. In response to an email from us, they denied actively promoting field sports. Four weeks later, we asked them for details of Hunting Holidays in Scotland. They didn't connect the two approaches and sent us the "Handbook of Scottish Country Sports" which states on the front cover: "Supported by the Scottish Tourist Board".
